We have classified these alpacas as Fiber/Companion for several reasons:
- the females may have never been bred or not for many years but they are healthy and produce useful fiber.
- even though the males offered as non-breeders are healthy and have very nice fleece, when you have an abundance of males with the same ancestry in your pastures, you pick the top one or two to become studs.
