Alpaca-ranching has been an extremely successful lifestyle change for us. A ranch tour is by far the best way to experience whether it might also work for you. Alpacas at Lone Ranch offers a free personalized tour of alpaca-ranching.
The ranch is conveniently located between Eagle Point and Shady Cove, 4.5 miles west on Oregon's Scenic Byway 234 in the beautiful Upper Rogue Valley close to historic Jacksonville, the cultural treasure of Ashland, and the unsurpassed beauty of Crater Lake.
Your entire family can get a first-hand, up-close look at both the Animal and Business sides of operations.
A casual walk through typical and special days of alpaca-ranching can give many answers and also help to stimulate the right questions.
It may seem early to think about Pricing Alpacas, but it is an important component of evaluating whether alpaca-ranching will be right for you. The price of a starter package is usually far below the value of the individual animals. Pick out your favorites and get an actual quote of examples.
If you just want to get to know Kimaree and learn about alpacas in general, we'll be happy to give you a tour. In June, July and August, we recommend the 10 AM tour because it get's pretty hot here in the afternoon. Give us a call at 541-821-8071.
Families may choose to combine this tour with a memorable vacation/visits to Jacksonville, Ashland and Crater Lake.
Our girls are awaiting your visit!

At this time, we still offer tours (as long as it is not raining) but limiting the tour to 3 persons and we will practice social distancing.
We give free tours every day at 11 AM and 1:30 PM. But please call ahead (541-821-8071) - sometimes we are away from the ranch.
Starting in June, morning tours are offered at 10 AM. The afternoon tour can still take place, just know that we will be out in the hot pasture.
